The Ridgway Public Library is accepting applications for a Library Assistant position. This is for a summer internship funded through PHEAA and the Stackpole-Hall Foundation. Students may work up to 480 hours during the summer, between May 1 and August 13 with wages se at $12/hour.

Eligibility: Students who are unsure of their eligibility should apply. Job Background: The library assistant intern will work closely with the director and library staff to learn skills associated with program planning, community collaboration, working with children, and library operations. The intern will assist with with summer children's activities, library programs such as artist residencies, library fundraisers and events, create displays and help with other library-related tasks and events. Thank you to the Dr. William C. Conrad/ Stackpole-Hall Foundation for continuing to provide opportunities for students and nonprofit employers in Elk County with the Summer Jobs Program.
