Our needlework club is an all-ages event that will be hosted by the library on the second Monday of every month. This informal, social meeting is a chance to chat and share fiber arts tips over coffee and tea with other interested needleworkers. Beginner through expert level knitters, crocheters, folks who work with a loom, and other yarn-based artists are all welcome to attend.
*No registration necessary for the Needlework Club* Book Club.
Book Club is officially done for the 2024-2025 season. Our hiatus is from June and July, with our first book pickup for the 2025-26 season in August. We have two book club groups that take place on the 3rd Wednesday of the month (4:15pm) & the 3rd Thursday of the month (10:15am). Please come to the circulation desk to obtain a registration packet if you are interested in joining one of these. Space is limited, so don't delay, sign up today! If you are more interested in the book than the conversation, we are more than happy to offer you the monthly title as they are returned from Book Club members (registration not required). Interested in hosting your own book club? Come check out one of our kits that include 12 or more books. The Magic All Around Jennifer Moorman

Teen Advisory Board Registration If you’re a natural bookworm with a passion for making the Ridgway Public Library a teen-friendly space, our NEW Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is for you!
Students in grades 8-12 are invited to earn community service hours by planning, organizing and participating in teen programs as well as helping with other library programs and events. Meeting attendance will count as volunteer hours and members of TAB will be considered first for volunteer opportunities. If you are a TAB member, you will get to influence the types of books, programs, and events the library provides for teens. You will work closely with library staff to implement and run teen programs, and gain valuable volunteer and community experience you can list on a resume or college application. Also - you’ll have a lot of fun. Please complete the form below if you would like to register. |
