Thank you to everyone who helped contribute to make this project a success! Thank you to our wonderful donors, volunteers, and contractors - we can't thank you enough! A special thanks to our patrons and guests who have been understanding and patient during the long renovation process.
We want to make sure everyone gets the credit they deserve, so if you contributed funds designated for the Renovation Account, and your name is not listed, please contact Rachel at [email protected]. Please note that any funds designated as memorials were not used specifically for the building improvement project, but may have been used for library necessities (new furniture, the Donna Brazinski Memorial Garden, or for book purchases). Also note that general donations, or donations designated for the Friend's Campaign Drive were used not used for the building improvement project. |
Thank you to these foundations, donors, and contractors:

The Elk County Community Foundation and the Elk County Commissioners Partnership are pleased to announce the awarding of a $15,100 grant to The Ridgway Public Library through Elk County’s portion of the funds from the American Rescue Plan Act. The grant is to support the purchase and installation of an HVAC system for the library. Window AC units will be removed, and HVAC will keep guests and staff cool and comfortable throughout the year! The system will also include particle filtering to remove dust, mold, bacteria, and other airborne particles.
The Ridgway Public Library was chosen as one of seven beneficiaries for this year's annual GOH Charitable Golf Outing! The funds donated to the library will be used to support the purchase and installation of an HVAC system. |
The Ridgway Public Library received an Elk County ACT 13 Mini-grant to install new emergency equipment to keep library guests and visitors safe at all times. Illuminating exit signs have been displayed above the doors and emergency lights have been installed on the first floor and in the basement for power failures. New railings have been installed on the handicap ramp and steel railings have been installed on the steps from Center Street to the sidewalk. Thank you for helping us keep the library a safe place for everyone to enjoy!
